America’s stupidest: Man accidentally sets fire to gas pump [Video]

There are times when you witness something, and all you can muster is a palm to the forehead and a shake of the head. Well, this is one of those times, as a man pumping gas attempted to a kill a spider which was sitting on his car’s trunk with his lighter, and within seconds the flame from the lighter ignited the gasoline being pumped. The brain fog was strong with this one!

Luckily, the station clerk was quick on the trigger, and turned the pump off before any serious damage was done. The fire department arrived soon after and cleaned up the remaining evidence of what many are epitomizing as the literal embodiment of stupidity of our senseless generation.
