Law and order at the highest levels of government has clearly been reduced to little more than partisan witch hunts, as evidenced by the recent congressional hearing with FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok.
In case you missed it, Strzok was subpoenaed by Congress to testify about the FBI’s ongoing probe into alleged collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign. But instead of doing what he was required to do by law, Strzok refused to answer questions and even claimed that he didn’t believe that he had actually been subpoenaed.
In this video clip posted by “TIME2GETSERIOUS” on the new Brighteon.com platform, you’ll see Strzok flat-out dodging questions by Congressmen Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) and Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), even though he was repeatedly told that answering them is required by law.
“Between July 31 and August 8, how many interviews did you conduct related to the alleged collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign?” Rep. Gowdy asks Strzok.
“Congressman, as you know, the council for the FBI, based on the Special Council’s equities, has instructed me not to answer questions about the ongoing investigation into Russian attempts to interfere (with the election),” Strzok is heard responding.
The two men go back and forth, with Rep. Goodlatte emphasizing that Strzok does not have the option to decline answering questions. But Strzok keeps repeating the same canned response, basically stating that his loyalties and obedience like with FBI top brass, and not with members of Congress who serve as representatives of the people.
According to VOX, the whole thing devolved into “a full-on partisan circus” – basically a shouting match between Republicans and Democrats that resulted in Rep. Goodlatte threatening to hold Strzok in contempt.
It was a gross display of political anarchy, and one that TIME2GETSERIOUS’s Brighteon.com channel points out is indicative of the collapse of law and order in the United States.
“It’s a dog and pony show,” explains TIME2GETSERIOUS’s host in an analysis of the of Strzok’s testimony (which begins at around the 9:30 mark in the video).
“When Congress calls you to testify, you testify … If we have no law and order, we have no justice; we have no respect for law and order. We have already lost, and it’s just a matter of time before the hot war gets started, and it’s this kind of stuff that’s going to do it.”
Is there any hope for justice at all? It all depends on whether or not there are any real patriots left in Congress who are fighting for our republic rather than for the “Deep State.” Those who aren’t bought and paid for, and who can’t be blackmailed in any way will have to lead the charge. But how many of them are there?
“I would like to think that Trey Gowdy is on our side,” TIME2GETSERIOUS adds. “I’m hoping that there are some good people in Congress still, and I’m hoping that Trey Gowdy is one of them.”
Without justice, there will be a trickle-down effect of lawlessness that spreads to every crevice of American society. This is already evident throughout society, with elected officials at every level now openly flouting the law without consequence.
“If this doesn’t make you sick as an American … if we can’t get any justice … then this country is doomed,” TIME2GETSERIOUS adds. “We’re going to have a bunch of hardcore people without a government … because if you have no justice, then you have no government.”
